HOW TO GET ATTENTION
In our world of a thousand distractions, how do you
get somebody’s attention...especially on a web site
where the whole world is just a click away?
First, don’t use the technique employed by babies
everywhere – screaming and yelling. It works for
little ones because they're cute, but it won’t work
for you. Here are some tips:
1 – Write about benefits.
Ever hear the old saying "People don’t buy drills,
they buy holes?" Explain how people will enjoy the
benefits you will bring, not necessarily the features
you provide.
2 – Solve their problems.
“How to” is one of the best lead-ins around. Everyone
wants to know how to do something that will make
their life better. Tell them straight out how you
can help them solve their problems.
3 – Be specific
Reading “47 people have already solved their wet
basement issues" is much more attention-grabbing and
believable than reading “People everywhere have already
solved their wet basement issues.”

NEWS WRAP-UP
Well we have to admit...we opted for the resturant route this
Thanksgiving after all. We went to a place nearby and had a
wonderful meal with no dishes to clean up!! You can't beat
that with a drumstick! We even had leftovers.
Now we are gearing up for two Christmas parties we will be
hosting over the course of the next two weekends. We really
do love celebrating the holidays! (We'll send pictures next time.)
