You can restrict the pages that a Web Builder Express user can edit. For example, perhaps you want Sally to be able to edit all pages, while you want Jeff to edit only one page on the web site.
The steps are: 1 - Create a new security user group 2 - Edit the page access settings on the security user group to allow access to only the pages you want 3 - Assign the appropriate users to the new security user group
1 - How to create a new security user group
To restrict editing access, you need to set up a security user group. You can set up a new security user group by selecting:
Summary > Advanced Features > Users > User Groups
Select Add Group
Give the group a name and description, and save the new group.
2 - Edit the page access settings on the security user group
On the View / Edit Groups page, select Editing tools security.

Any user who is assigned to this security user group will have access to edit all the page with a green check mark next to them. They will not have access to edit pages with red circles next to them.
In the example above, any user assigned to this security user group will have access to edit the "Registration, Request forms" page, but will not have access to edit the "Home" page, the "Announcements" page, etc.
You can switch a page from having a green check to a red circle by clicking on the green check mark.
You can switch a page from having a red circle to a green check by clicking on the red circle.
You can use the "Apply changes to sub-pages" check box to apply a change to all subpages.
3 - Assign the user to the new security user group
To assign a user to a new security user group, go to:
Summary > Advanced Features > Users
Select the User Properties.
Select the group from the drop down list, and click OK.
Return to How to get started using Web Builder Express
Return to Summary page.
